I'd leave alcohol-based mouthwash alone. I used it quite often and it did more harm than good. Aggravated my already irritated gums and made my mouth very dry.

If it has fluoride, definitely chuck it into the nearest garbage pail. There are mouthwashes that are non-alcoholic that works just as good, if not even better than regular mouthwash.

I brush my teeth before and after I OP. Sometimes I just gargle with all natural mouthwash before and after.
