Re: Can Teeth Cause Disease?

20% of teeth die the day they are filed down to a stub for a crown . Ive had teeth die while filed down for a crown. I have teeth that I was told to crown a decade ago and did'nt and have no problems with those teeth. How can it be good to remove healthy tooth structure?Teeth cant remineralise or clean themselves if they have crowns.
Speaking of unneccessary dental work, the ADA recommends replacing fillings every eight years. This results in removal of healthy tooth structure and nerve trauma. Many people have much older fillings that don't cause problems.Unneceesary work increases profits.Readers Digest found that the majority of dentists do unneccessary work.
