Hi there and welcome.

I'm new here myself, im sure some others will adress some of your other points.

I believe table salt only is ionized and not Sea Salt . so there is no or little Iodine in Sea Salt .

plus i think there is a debate on how much Iodine we really do need. some say the rda of 150mcg is much too low. so Iodine deficiency means different things to different people.
