There is a paper available on plate zapping, but I can tell right now that EVERY manufacturer that sells plate zapping equipment tells you the same and that it is an art form and requires months of practice and hours of testing time.

You can get a much easier test against 1000s of pathogens using a Quantum Xrroid Consciousness interface for perhaps a of hundred bucks:
