I can attest to the strengthening of the bladder
I used to have a real problem "holding it" until I could get to a bathroom.
However, if you ever get an extended period of time away from your job - increase your water at that time. (Even like a long weekend - to get your body used to the increase). It does take about 3 weeks for the bladder to strengthen to the point where it can hold more. (At least, that works even if you're iodine-deficient)
I can attest mine was so bad that it felt like a dam would bust if I didn't get to the bathroom in time, but then I'd just go a little bit (and no, I'm not a man, so I don't have a prostate).
I will even admit (if it helps you) that I peed the bed twice about a year ago. (I'm 50).
I was already consuming the proper amounts of water and salt when the
Iodine info recently came to me. My bladder had already been strengthened BEFORE, but, it seems tremendously stronger NOW.
When I go...I really GO...it's like someone opened up the gosh-darn floodgates!
I understand now what Trapper said, I feel like I'm peeing out stupid!
