Re: Castor Oil--Update on tooth sensitivity

Update...I'm still using the safflower oil as I switched 2 days ago. And still, no sensation around the mercury filled molar--nothing. As I stated, the sensation was quite pronounced when pulling w/the castor oil.

I'm going to continue w/the safflower for another 3 days and then switch back to the castor oil to see if the sensitivity starts up. If it does, well then I know it's the castor oil. However, if it does start up, I won't know what to do about it. I'm in no position at present to start having my fillings removed and this molar has a huge mercury filling and the 2 teeth next to it also have large mercury fillings. This goes back to childhood when I had lots of cavities. Anyway, there's an awful lot of mercury in that area--3 teeth in a row.
