I was just wondering how all of you were doing, also.

I have made some interesting discoveries concerning my daughter. There is definitely a connection between diet, exercise, clean water and air and early puberty in her case. Everytime we take a trip and one or two of those factors are altered, she has a period. It happened when we went to Hawaii in August, Phuket in October and again when we went to the US in December. She returned home and had her period everytime right after. Everytime she wasn't drinking distilled water and eating all of the raw, organic foods that I prepare for her. Since she is back home and back on track, she didn't have a period this month. This scenario is certainly making a believer out of her and she is watching her diet more than I am which is relief. She never eats candy at school that is so freely dished out at times.

I haven't been using the maca consistently, but I do put it in her smoothies. Smoothies can hide a treasure of goodies that children otherwise wouldn't eat. I am sure the maca has been helping, though. What I do give her about one week before her period "would" start is 1 modifilan. I think that works. And she puts detox foot pads on for about 5 days before. I live on a military base in Japan so I can get the foot pads at the 100 yen store.

Another interesting observation I made is when my daughter was younger, after she was done nursing, she drank milk all of the time. I mean, that is what we were lead to believe, drink milk for healthy bones. Well, since I have been "educated" we have stopped drinking milk. The other day she had some two days in a row and woke up the next morning with a cold sore. No more milk and sore went away. She also gets huge cold sores (for lack of a better word, that is what the Dr. always said they were) from peanut butter. Which she avoids like the plague now. I also limit her consumption of soy nut butter, even though it is her favorite.

We still are using all natural organic shampoos, conditioners, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, tooth pastes, etc. Tropical Traditions is great for all of that as they ship for free to the military. They are a Godsend.

I hope this helps anyone who is trying to stave off early puberty. It can be done.

Aloha
