Re: Desperately seeking recovery "buddy" in return for same
You know, there's usually a lot of people of Curezone. Maybe just post in the "Ask Curezone" forum whenever you need help and encouragement. Someone will respond within a few hours (or less), which is as quick or quicker than an e-mail buddy. The more you post, the more people will become familiar with you and your story.
Also, stop buying the things that are making you sick. Toss out things you own that are making you sick. If the kitchen is bare, so be it. Then go out and buy only fresh fruits and veggies, and juice them. You can eat some raw if you like too, but primarily juice. Eat an avocado everyday. Take any juice that suits your fancy and tastes good to you. Juice a handful of parsley everyday (this'll help your kidneys - but don't take more than a handful because it's potent) with 1/4 pineapple everyday, and 6 carrots, 6 stalks of celery, and as many oranges and lemons as you'd like. Juice beets, grapefruit, leafy greens (ie. any kind of lettuce, endive, spinach, ect.) And avoid all other parts of the grocery store except the fresh fruits and veggies.
Take 1 tablespoon of slippery elm everyday - make it into a gruel (when you add water). You can add a bit of cinnamon and/or fresh lemon/apple juice to it if you want for flavour.
Read this book: "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise L. Hay
Start your day by mediating. Get a meditation DVD you can follow along with. This is SO important for your stress and healing and learning to respect and appreciate your body so you don't hurt it with binging anymore.
And get those negative people out of your life!!! If you're clinging to relationships that make you so stressed you binge, then you're hanging onto old wounds. Let them heal - move on. Find a new support group - is there a spiritual group near you?
