A quick update
I have taken 100 mg of
Lugol's for each of the last 2 days... this in addition to 2 tablespoonful of kelp and painting some on three moles. Before that, I did 2 days at 75 mg, before that, 3 or 4 days at 50 mg, and before that several days at 25 mg. A week of about 12.5 mg a day with Atomidine, and kelp was done.
I suspect I was doing somewhere between 5 and 9.5 mg a day with kelp and dulse for several months before that.
NOTE: I DO NOT recommend this for everyone, especially individuals who may be very low on iodine, just starting out with this supplementation, and\or people of small stature. I have been eating kelp and dulse for almost 2 years, just not as a therapeutic dose. This SELF EXPERIMENT is somewhat of a push the limit on a height\weight adjusted dose based upon Abraham's 50mg doses on women most likely weighing 3/4 to less than half of what I do.
The first day at the higher doses in all instances produced a funky feeling, especially in the forehead almost like a real heavy brain fog, not a headache. The second day at the same dose, this feeling was faint, and fading till gone. If I read the literature correctly, this would indicate a detox reaction, most likely of other halides and heavy metals. It is my understanding that it takes about a month to start chelating aluminum... one can only hope.
Each night I have fallen asleep quickly and slept soundly; even more so than I have and I have had no complaints. I hit the pillow and am out...
In addition I have had much more lucid dreaming AND each day, I have awakened MUCH more clear headed with a heightened state of awareness and focus... interesting.
If there could be one improvement in my health outside the physical, it would be to have more focus to understand ever changing priorities and to stay on task.
I have been unable to concentrate on task as well as I would like since a major burn out (three jobs, school etc) incident in 1997. This is one of my health improvement goals I am VERY pleased\happy to see change in. In addition, my physical recovery from my weekend warrior stint has been nothing short of amazing, given my physical history.
I will be off CZ for a few days and report again when I get back.
