How did you come to know about this? What do you think the chances for the average parent in your town to find out through the same way you did? How many other ways do you imagine there may be for anybody to learn about this outside of the way you learned?

There is an opportunity for true activism to work at it's finest here. Try to put aside for the moment the negative programming you may have been swamped with when it comes to that word "activist". Now that you do know, and now that you have expressed a heartfelt concern for other parents to know, why don't you make it a point to do something, maybe just a little thing here or there, to help some of these other parents learn a little of what you know? It wouldn't have to be elaborate. Actually, I think the simpler you keep it, the better your chances. Maybe just print up a couple pages from the sources you know of, and provide some references to web links and so forth. My sense is, whether people are aware of it or not, they are actually so worn down because they are constantly & subtly being sold stuff through the media and newspapers and politicians that they often are suffering from bilked-buyer-burnout. Worse, a lot of people may not consciously be aware that they are always being sold something, or what they're constantly beign sold, or that they in many cases have unknowingly been constantly buying this invisible stuff always being sold to them.

Be careful. Sometimes spreading the truth, even heartfelt ones, can cause people to turn on you in a hurry. Good luck!
