Curezone was mentioned in an article on the Master Cleanse, that is on the New York Times website (link below), and that was subsequently printed in several regional editions of papers owned by the New York Times company. We live in a medium size town in North Carolina, a city that is quite conservative, and our paper printed the article.
Of course the article interviews both sides (experts who say fasting is bad as well as those who gave testimonials for it). Newspapers have to do that though.
I thought it was interesting that curezone made it into papers owned by the New York Times - pretty mainstream coverage there.
Incidently, I'm sure glad that celebrities, who are followed by the media, have been in recent years trying out alternative medicine more than they used to - that helps get alternative medicine in the news (hopefully positively).
