Busting with pride
Grz -
I'm so HAPPY for you. And you have been on here since the beginning, so you are a living testament to long term oil pulling. It can give us all hope that this is indeed doing what it looks like it's doing everyday in your mouth. What does you wife say about all this? Is she still swishing?
I think we are rounding up on a year that this forum has been active. I have yet to hear of anyone that once started, stopped this therapy. There must be some people out there, and it sure would be interesting to hear from them. I'm sure they were afraid to post because there would be a thread of 50 people telling them not to.
Today, for the first time in months and months I literally forgot to pull. Been stressed at work, and totally spaced out this morning. Came home and ate something before I realized I hadn't pulled too. I'm losing my mind!! Anyway, all day my mouth felt icky. I haven't had that feeling in my mouth for a long time, and I didn't like it at all. I made my husband promise that when we are coming back from the gym in the a.m. he would remind me as I'm obviously starting to become senile.
And speaking of my cynical husband. This is the man who says he can't see or feel anything with all the things we are doing. He has faith in me, but he just doesn't really see the point. So I told him that if that were so, that he should just stop. I mean, if you aren't getting any benefits, why spend the extra dough? I told him that about 4 weeks ago. Well I have noticed that he still oil pulls every morning, and still takes the Vit C, and still takes the.....hmmmm. I haven't wanted to throw that back in his face. You just know I'm dying to mock him.
So, I'm assuming this is the hygenist that knows about OP? Did she comment on it?
Thanks for your post Grz, I guess I've blathered on long enough tonight.
