3 and 1/4 cups of burdock root (chopped into pieces)- this is by volume measure

1/2 pound of powdered sheep sorrel (make sure it is the sorrel called Rumex Acetosella) - this is by weight measure

1/8 pound of powdered slippery elm bark (use the inner bark) - this is by weight measure

1/2 ounce of powdered Turkish rhubarb root (aged 6 years or more)- this too is by weight measure
