The Secret has been called a "best-selling DVD" by retailers. They are now even selling the soundtrack that goes with the film (tack on another $14.95 to add that to your cart).

I'm sorry you missed the sales pitch.

Obviously they figure if you see it and it generates unbridled hope for your life, then you will want to own it, of course! You will want to own it so that you can frequently hone up on your personal manifesting skills in your spare time. Then you will want to tell all of your friends about it, and so on...

They are cashing in on the demographic of desparate and gullible individuals. When your dreams and fantasies don't magically "manifest" then you have just done it wrong.

Looks like the makers of "The Secret" are MANIFESTING themselves a lot of cash.

Is positive thinking important? Of course it is very important. Will positive thinking allow you to have anything you want? Of course not. That is fantasy and I feel really sorry for people that believe this gimmick.

This is just a marketing ploy that takes advantage of peoples' inherent selfishness!
Maybe people should spend less time thinking about what THEY want, and spend more time trying to help other people!
