sheesh, give it a rest.
I am not a UTer, but it seems like there are many therapies out there that people believe in and have had personal successes with that I would not even dream of going near. There is no need to get rude and nasty about it and jump people who believe in something you do not. The original post of the poster about swishing with it seemed to be almost topical, in that they were wondering what others would think of the idea in the fashion of oil pulling. I didn't think they were being deliberately inflammatory about it (it is gone, now, so I am unable to read it over again to see if there was anything offensive in it).
I did read an earlier thread that got hot tempered on the subject, but again, it seemed like it turned into that because the person who mentioned the therapy was openly ridiculed about it and became defensive.
Maybe a gentler approach could be had in the future towards people who innocently, God-forbid mention a therapy that seems foreign and yes, well, kinda gross to those who do not imbibe in it.
Besides, being openly hostile sort of negates the whole 'oil pulling makes you soooo mellow' mantra.
