Help us, anyone! This is a big problem in the winter

Anyone with tips? This is a big problem in the winter for some of us! I've tried extra lights on (although haven't bought special lights, just more of them), more exercise, less exercise, various special diets on cloudy, rainy days, and not much does anything. The minute the sun comes out for an hour or so, presto, I feel better, even if I have not stepped out of my house (so it is NOT exposure to the sun on skin a-la vitamin D that is doing this in me).

I did recently read that the herb called calendula is supposed to help reduce problems with mood specifically from bad weather, but have not yet tried it. I do not have the reference anymore - but remember that it said to buy a supplement with the flowers or leaves of calendula.

Cloudy weather can really be the pits. Other issue with some people is the change in air pressure when it is raining.
