side of head pain

Hi
I stumbled on this OP site last week. I have been reading back posts. I must say this is a great site. I have gum disease and I get a little bleeding when I brush. I have only been doing it for 5 minutes because I get this pain on side of neck from shoulder to mid head; mostly on both sides but it is more pronounced on the left side.
I was wondering if some of you experienced swishers can tell me what this pain is?
I only pull for 5 minutes per day, with the pain being bearable. The first time I did it for about double that, the pain!!! so I did an enema flush after it, with great results. I have done a few enemas after I do the swishing because it does give some relief from this pain.
I am continuing with this oil swishing because my first experience with it was unreal.
