Re: bitter taste, is this normal???

I recently bought a godzilla (similar to a Bob Beck Blood electrifyer) and with it came a Colloidal Silver maker. Diappointingly, the CS tastes quite bitter, quite unpleasant. I use Reverse Osmosis warer, which is the next best thing to distilled water for this purpose. I use 250 ml. almost boiling water, place it in a glass jar, insert the silver rods, and leave them plugged in for about 8 min. The water turns gold, and at the end I find a golden brownish layer at the bottom of the glass. I am afraid to ingest this CS and feed it to my plants instead.
Should I use cold water in the future?
