If you really want to make this or any relationship work there are 3 questions I will propose to you:

Do you RESPECT this person, her choices, her actions, and what she shares with you?

Can you tolerate everything about her just as she is now because if there is something you really want her to change the likelihood is that she won't anytime soon if ever.

Do you share similar goals or dreams & enjoy common interests?


If you can honestly anwer these questions in a way that is positive for you than maybe it is worth telling her that it hurt your feelings when she gave you such an unthougtful gift for holidays.

Or maybe you could try talking about the kind of committment each of you wants with each other? It sounds like she would rather enjoy the swinging lifestyle & that you want monogamy. These are important distinctions to make & will save you heartaches by finding out now & in the beginning of any other relations you may have.

Trust your inner voice it seems to be telling you what to do. The answer is often in the question...!!!
