Re: What do I do?

Hi Amabael

You can fall pregnant with endometriosis. It depends on the severity and exactly where in the pelvic area it is causing most problems. You are very lucky to have you son. No-one wants to have surgery but, if I were you, I would think about the laparoscopy as it is the only way of diagnosing it. Left untreated it will get worse and if you would like another child it may hinder this too.

You may have just have mild, there is moderate and severe. I am unlucky to have severe endometriosis and it affected my life so badly for 10 years. I had the laparoscopy done and there is nothing to it. I have had to have several IVF because of my condition, I fell pregnant twice, and lost both babies although was told it was not due to the endometriosis, although I have doubted this.

I am so much better now, and have not had bad periods for a few years now. I am still childless but at least I have IVF. I will have another go shortly and can't wait.

I do hope you consider the laparoscopy, speak to your doc, get some more info, advice and take it from there.

All the best.

Twinny.
