CLEARING THE AIR!

There has been no name-calling on my part, nor did I refer to Russ as a 'snake-oil peddler' or accuse him of offering outrageous advice. Any links between the two were made by the reader and not by myself.

My 'credentials' were given to Russ in response to a statement he made regarding my lack of knowing anything about various medical conditions that were mentioned. While I realize that NO credentials reflect a persons understanding of a subject, I included my occupation so that he was aware that I was not only speaking from personal experience, as he had suggested.

I have no 'agenda' in posting to this website beyond that of others who post here to offer their experiences and possibly assist others in their healing. I am not selling any products, nor marketing my professional services.

I am also not here to defend the deplorable attitudes and behaviors of far too many in the medical professions. I am sorry to hear of the pain and suffering that has resulted from the ignorance, arrogance and callousness of healthcare professionals. I, too, spent a lot of time and money with doctors who only contributed to my health problems rather than helping.

However, it is also thanks to a few enlightened MDs (specializing in anthroposophical, environmental, homeopathic and Chinese medicines) who initiated my interest in natural healing and adopt these principals in their own practices. While I realize that this is the exception and not the rule, there are members of the medical community that are advancing their understanding and assisting people in healing themselves. To make blanket negative statements regarding the entire medical establishment is as destructive as the too frequent dismissal of complementary and natural medicine by the majority of the allopathic community. Russ himself uses statements by numerous MDs to support his postiions on his website. You can't have it both ways.

I am glad that many of you are benefitting from Russ's suggestions and products. There is a lot of very valluable information on this site, and many people are making valuable contributions. Hopefully there is room for many points of view.
