Re: "Diagnosed" with herpes today - questions about how I got it and if it's really it

This sounds alot like what I had going on last year. I started having unprotected sex with this woman and developed a recurring pimple at the base of my penis for a few days. I thought it was just a pimple from shaving or something. Are you saying this could have been the dreaded herps?! The thing is she was adamant that she was disease free and got tested every six months. She was very concerned about having unprotected sex and we discussed it extensively before partaking in "sexy time". I really have a hard time believing I caught this from her.
