Hi, no apology necessary! I knew what you meant and didn't take it badly (but thank you). The stuff in cigarettes is actually very easily found out, and I'm surprised I didn't learn this earlier (sometimes it takes something like this to jolt a person). But again, the fact of what I did know it contained should have been more than enough to deter me.

I have a friend that grew tobacco also (In Tennessee). And yes, if one grows it themselves, you have complete control over it. I'm not actually a smoker though and dont intend to ever be one! But certainly, the old style organic roll your own ones would be the much safer option (other than growing it yourself).

What I would LOVE to know, is, why do they add all the other toxic chemicals/metals to cigarettes? Nicotine is obvious, but as for the rest, I'm pretty naive over the point of it all.
