I was at an admissions seminar for one of the nation's prestigious law colleges yesterday, and learned that the admissions panels are now taking the higher of the two LSAT scores which students take. Previously, if a person had a low score and re-took the exam, they would take the average of the two scores.
The fact that they're taking the higher of the two could mean that students performance on the test has been decreasing as time passes, indicating a decrease in the quality of the students.
