Thank you all for your kind words and for sharing our tears.

Blackjack was a part of our family, he grew up alongside our children and brought us so much laugther over the years it is what we will miss most.

I wonder what his next run though this world will be? He was loving, spirited and valiant. Whatever his lessons for this time around, he surely mastered them, and taught us all quite a lot while doing so.

Having these lovely creatures share their unique ways with us is such a gift...
