My comment wasn't a reflection on you Z. It was just that whole segway thing and the guy being the sole distributor and all that made it a bit stanky for me. There is no set all inclusive selling of copyright on anything. It all depends on how the deal was made and written. Things are broken into "specific rights" sold and then there are subclauses with limitations or definitions of usage to those specific rights. The widows could have well retained book publishing rights or even when the contract was written the rights sold were for a specic period and any other number of things. In any case we simply don't know either way.
The one thing that we do know that unless the book has passed into public domain which I doubt, The material in the book itself is copywritten by either the widow or whomever owns the copyright to the published material and the book may not be reproduced without written consent and/or recompense to the copyright holder. If someone was real interested they could contact the publisher to inquire about reproduction rights.
BTW (I) in my biz I deal with copyrights and the selling of specific rights issues all the time.
BTW (II) I don't wear no underwear so there ain't nothing to bunch...............;+D
