... I put about one table spoon (but I will use less after reading your post) of it in water in the morning and drink it in the evening with fresh fruit juice and/or yougurth and sometimes cayenne or cinnamon - whatever I like and parasites don't.

My question is if this way is just as beneficial as drinking the psyllium "dry" i e not soaking them first? Does it clean the intestinal walls and soak up parasites and other stuff that should be removed as well as using them "dry"?

This works well for my stomach and I just prefer using them that way. With fruit juice etc it actually tastes quite good.
