One thing to consider...

Some Plastic piping/tubing is not rated for Hot Water. make sure to always use plumbing that is accordingly rated for the Hot Water.

Even better though : In Japan they have have double-walled plumbing - Its Copper Exterior with PVC inside, even the fittings are double wall. The advantages of Copper with the 'benefits' of Plastic.

I'm still not convinced of the "safety" of Plastic for drinking water though. Ideally I'd use the Hospital-Grade Pyrex plumbing fittings myself - If it weren't for the cost. Tweet
