Just checkin' in & update

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know I'm still pullin' though I’ve not been able to visit as much as I’d like. I’ve come to realize that visiting this site is like reading a book on good nutrition. As long as I continue to read the book on good nutrition, I continue to make good food choices, but when I stop reading the book then I tend to quickly and easily go back to my old ways. So has been my experience with OPing.

Apparently my husband and I both have been fighting off an on-coming sinus (+?) infection. I was oil pulling, he was not. We both felt horrible for almost 2 weeks. I was changing oils to see if something different would help but I still felt no better. He suddenly came down with it bad and had horrible sinus pain and other symptoms much worse than mine and spent 4 days in a row in bed with Antibiotics called in. I still felt bad and had no drive, so I spent 3 of those 4 days in a row mostly in bed too. It was during that time that I thought, “I must be crazy, this oil pulling is not working,” so I quit pulling for 3 days in a row as I slept. (I know, I can hear a gasp from you all in unison…”You quit pulling?! While you were sick?!”….yes, I did…for 3 days…(blush).

Oh…I have to say though – that while I was not oil pulling, I was swishing with water in my mouth several times vigorously before brushing my teeth, but no more than 1 minute
or so. Still I believe this flushes some toxins out.

So, 3 days in the middle of being sick and no oil pulling - my sinus symptoms remained the same – but you know what happened? My jumping uncomfortable legs came back!

So – of course – I became a believer - again – by my own experience and started pulling again, this time with olive oil. It took 3 days of pulling for those symptoms in my legs to go away again. I’m still suffering with the sinus stuff but still have not experienced as severe of symptoms as my husband and I have not had to take Antibiotics . Plus my legs feel great again! Thank God!

I don't know when I'll be able to check in again, I know I'm missing all kinds of interesting information but this little bit here and there is all I can do. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!....carea Tweet
