When did your pain begin to lessen?

After reading a bit of your history it sounds quite similar to mine, and the information in encouraging. Today I completed my 15th Flush, with a massive load of stones expelled. But of the 15 flushes only 4 have resulted in a big load of stones, and my pain on my side has never gone away. I'm wondering if someday, after say the 28th flush that my pain might subside.
I was almost led to believe after reading your lasest post that stones are almost a normal phenomenon and may continue forever in most of us.
I would not mind personally, and the 2 flushes per year maintainance would not be a problem. But more than anything I would like this ongoing pain to end sometime in the future, and I hope that flushing might do that. When did your pain begin to lessen?
