Re: I Cured My Candida -So Can You! By Ian Solley
Hi, to treat heavy metal toxicity without treating candida is bad advice. Candida only adds to the miseries of heavy metal toxicity, and also makes mercury more toxic. On top of this, candida overloads the gut and liver, which are needed for detox. A person can sometimes be suffering so many things from both candida and mercury, it's enough to push them over the edge.
Many people have got to treat their yeast, as well as doing someting about their metal toxicity. Doing one without the other is bad news for many very sick people. Some can get away with it, others do not.
I am one of those. I had no idea candida was pushing my metal toxic body over the edge and I have been close to suicide many times from that alone. I went on a candida diet and no it didn't cure me, but allowed my body to get a breather and gain more strength and is better able to then to cope with mercury and some symptoms lessen also. Alot of mercury people do not address candida and vice versa. Just because mercury may cause candida, doesn't mean there is no point in treating candida. You must treat it in order to control some of the symptoms, even if it is not a permanent cure and you have to continually stick to the diet etc. It maybe the only thing saving a person's life WHILST they do something about the metal toxicity.
That is what I have learned and it's a hard lesson. Both should be treated simulataneously. In fact, candida is so bad, a person may have to delay the metal issue and address candida first in order to get themselves into a position where they can even function enough to more.
Antifungals may not be such a good idea with metal toxicity, but diet certainly IS and would help any toxic person, with both the toxicity and reducing yeast.
