(I am writing this under the assumption that you really didn't cheat on him in any way, and haven't even wanted to do that).
It is obvious that he's afraid you may have sex with someone who's penis is bigger then his. Often people who are good in bed are overly possesive and therefore insecure as they are afraid of loosing the pleasure and partner... It's the question of "having" vs. "being". Those three weeks of being mad at each other may well have been subcounsciously started by him as an attempt to rather break the relationship then risk loosing you to someone else.

Does he HAVE you or is he in LOVE with you? Is he the type who'd rather say "I love having sex with you" or "Wow we have great sex"? If pleasure is not balanced with spirituality and deep understanding and real love, then it will always lead into jealousy and insecurity and more and more problems.
