coconut oil/stomach ache.

Hi,
Today i got myself some virgin coconut oil, after about half an hour after taking it i started to get a bad stomach.It certainley wasn't the worst stomach ache i'd ever had but it did make me fell really terrible.I recentley had a live blood analysis & my doctor told me to minimize coconut oil intake, so today i took just 1 teaspoon full but it didn't take long for me to start feeling rough.
Can anyone shed any light on this, as i really want to take coconut oil daily, i dont see why i should miss out on the benefits of this great oil.
