Re: Nystatin Rebound Effect

Thanks, I'm very concerned about going off of the Nystatin after only two weeks and I'm going to do everything I can to get my doctor to give me at least another two week perscription to get me through the holidays and the first of the year. I'll be traveling for Christmas and won't have as easy access to healthcare. I hope the thread about the three RX's to treat candida comes up again at some point because I think it would be very helpful to everyone here. I've thought lately that if I were a doctor treating my condition, I'd go on Difulcan for a week, followed by three weeks of Nystatin and rotate the two for at least three months. At the Yeast Connection website, I found this website for finding doctors who specialize in yeast conditions. You can type in your zip code and find a doctor in your area who describes his specialty as "YS" (Yeast Syndrome). I found one in my area who I want to go see.
