Syncrometer

I am fascinated about being able to detect metals, parasites and such in one's body and other places using a synchrometer. However, I am not technically minded, and although I have found a source to get one, I understand that it is not easy to use. Could I learn it from Hulda Clark 's Synchrometer book and video or is that more for hardened techie peeps (or more like an introduction)? Am I doomed never to experience this exciting area? How does one learn to use one?
