I have problems like that with my left knee. Neprinol and Glucosamine help me the most. (Actually supplementing with selenium is less expensive and my understanding is that it gives the liver the nutrition it needs to manufacture glucosamine, so try it first.)
I agree with recommendation of apple cider vinegar. Put a table spoon of it in a quart of water and drink it. I also take comfrey. Shhh don't tell anybody. I bought the powder to make a poltice, and decided to mix some of it with milk thistle and take it internally.
By the way, how did you get the worms out of your throat? Could you tell us a little more about that?
