That question is pretty self explanatory.   Nobody likes other people attacking them?

Though as you may have seen from the links I provided, this behavious does not limit itself to QW.   Various religious leaders, churches, Alternative Med companies and proponents, various mainstream industries, cults, small and big companies and run of the mill people have tried to squash or silence internet critics.

The Church of Scientology being one of the most agressive at trying to quiet internet criticism via intimidation of IP or by misusing the court system. At one point they tried to shut down the newsgroup alt.religion,scientology
and they have the longest page on the eff site

So you assertion that only a quackbuster is capable of such action is nothing but lies.   Don't be a liar John

Their action at attempting to quash free speech in no way reflects their accuracy and integrity in the reporting of health fraud. The two are unrelated subjects.   This is why I can be glad Quackwatch lost their Lawsuit, yet still recognize the good work and the mainly accurate information that they provide.
