Numbness/tingling in back of the head?/ Chiro story and advice

Was in car accident and have 2 herinated discs in neck (c4-5 C5-6). Saw chiro for a month. She wanted to do 5 adjustments a week. I felt better initally but then felt worse. I stopped the "cracking" last week after I was completely stiff after an adjustment. She said she saw no improvement in a month of visits.

My chiro wanted to do a "gentle" technique instead. She wanted to stretch the dura mater and used the word cranial. Well she had me sit upright and stretched both sides of head at an angle. It was painful and felt like she was stretching beyond my body's capability. When she did the left side I heard a kind of crack and sizzle like a nerve moving and felt a searing pain to my left scapula. I couldn't turn my neck to the left side and left my arm for about and hour. My massage therapist said the muscle retracted.

Now my quest. Once before I had numbess in my head before this happened. Now I have had it 3 times since Friday with now more a tingling. Yesterday it lasted for 5-6 hours. I have it right now almost at the crwon in the back of had.

My neck is feeling better since stopping chiro but I am concerned about this numbness and tingling. Is this a pinched nerve. Is it possible from what she did?

Could it be permanent? ANy adive would be appreciated
