you talk of rare steak as if its a bad thing! hahaha! seriously, if you do hard core body building and stamina excercises i think a rare steak would be just what the doctor ordered. when its rare it still has the enzymes active and is packed with nutrients. i don't buy into he whole "red meat is bad for you" trip.
read the weston a price web site, it has a ton of info on meat and why its not as evil as some like to think.
of course over indulging in protein is not a good thing, but if you are buidling and rebuilding muscle then clearly you need more protein that the average office worker.
as for the red bulls and cigaretttes, either is he is detoxing those poisons thru excercise and deep breathing, or (as other posters have noted) they are slowly buidling up in his system and he will one day have to deal with them.
really, you have to do what you know is best for YOUR body, other people's body's are their problem.
