Question about hair growing back in without pigment?

Hello,

I have a question regarding my hair growing back after doing a parasite cleanse...Well, I finished a 3 month run with the cleanse just 2 weeks ago...and its amazing!! I have little baby hairs growing in that I can see, especially at the hairline (which trust me is so encouraging to see after my hair began thinning over the course of the last yr and a half)...
But what I'm wondering about is the fact that these little hairs (maybe 1/4 -1/2 an inch long) are growing in not only baby fine, but without color. They are blonde. Yet, Up until I got sick from the parasites my hair was always VERY thick and heavy, and medium brown. Not ever blonde. But even over the last yr, my hair in general (before the re-growth) has gotten lighter, and the texture is different, especially with these new little hairs, very fragile and delicate, very different from thick and coarse...

Does anyone have any information on this? Or know why this would be happening?? It's like my hair has lost its pigment...its really weird... Please let me know, if you have any insight.
