Parasite invading the eyes

Anyone know of a parasite that can affect the eyes? I've been seeing these strange "worm-like" things in my eyes. (Very obvious when looking at light or bright background. Eyes get very mucusy, and when I wipe my eyes I get white, thread-like stringy things. Certainly looks like parasite when looking at them. Whites of my eyes also get very dark and dull looking. Eyes also feel sore. Any ideas?
