Re: My Review of the Samson (Green Power) Twin-Gear vs Breville Juice Fountain Elite Juicer!

Yes, I agree. That was a great review. I've owned all of the juicers mentioned in these posts. Mike, I believe you meant the Samson Ultra rather than the Samson Green Power, which does not exist. I could be wrong about that. The Samson Ultra has smaller twin-gears which makes juicing, especially carrots, quite a chore. I've also owned the Breville model that you have. I found the large chute to be just too large for the cutter plate, and also a bit off-centered. I use a cheaper centrifugal (Omega 4000) which I like better even though my Breville Elite (like yours) produced slightly drier pulp. I just like the 'feel' of the Omega better. I also own a Breville Citrus Press and am quite impressed with the engineering. It is probably my favorite juicer even though I don't use it as much as my other juicers.
The Samsom GB-9001 mentioned in the other post is a fine single auger and does an outstanding job with wheatgrass. I used one for years before switching to a Wheateena Green Label, which I'm still not completely satisfied with.
Happy Juicing.......Wheatgrass Yogi
