Great review, I have two juicers sitting on my bench at the moment, a centrifugal, and a top of the line single gear called Oscar, (branded here in New Zealand, same model in the States with a different brand)I currently am juice fasting and at the beginning of the fast for all the reasons you mentioned I began to use the centrifugal juicer. However I have a chronic illness and being aware of the better capacity of geared juicers to retain enzymes etc, I decided that I was just being a bit lazy and returned to the Oscar.However the Oscar cleans in about the same time as the JuiceMan 11, just slower to get your fix of juice. I guess that people in my situation look for all the help they can get, and if a bit of extra work means a few thousand more enzymes to help the cause then so be it. Of course then there is the ability to store the juice from a geared juicer for up to 78hrs retaining 98%
enzymes etc.(this has been proven by Aajonus Vonderplanitz, mentioned in his book 'We Want To Live') Once again great review, happy juicing. Tweet
