I remember reading that but im not sure if the test can be described as totally accurate. Dont get me wrong I think the tests were a fantastic idea and I have great respect for those that conducted them, but I have read from many sources that xylitol helps good bacteria. Putting samples in yoghurt starters and not seeing yoghurt produced still leaves a grey area, this *may* not accurately simulate what would happen in a persons body with planted probiotics.
Also, there are many many strains of good bacteria, all could well react differently.
It seems to me that serious tests are needed in this grey area.
