I use it and do not suffer. It claims to feed good bacteria but not yeasts. I think xylitol in of itself is a natural occuring anti fungal.
The birch tree xylitol is a much higher grade than xylitol made from corn (often gm etc).
The only problem is that it may awaken your sweet tooth, so caution is needed!
But to be honest xylitol allows me so many new foods and drinks that it blew the diet wide open.
