A funny thing happened at the Dr's office today

Chaulk up another one for "conventional medicine." I just got back from seeing my kidney Doc and after telling him about the cleanses (I'm on the Para-cleanse now and the rest coming up) in the medicinal disclosure part of our visit, I have to say that he was somewhat less than enthusiastic about "the herbal approach". LIKE DUH! He didn't get in my face about it, but made it clear that he wasn't for it at all. He gave the usual spiel about the life threatening danger of an impacted stone, blah, blah, blah. I told him, "I guess we'll see, won't we?"

I gave him the website and told him to do the research first. If he gives me any flack the next time I'll have to remind him that HE STILL DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY ONLY REMAINING KIDNEY so how does he know what will harm it? When I left he was still scratching his head and ordering more tests.

Maybe I should be careful what I say about him, he might actually read this. Wouldn't THAT be a hoot?
