Dr. Perricone is for 'Low-Glycemic Foods', he's against drinking the 'juice' of the above vegetables. However, even Apple and Carrot Juices are in the 'Low Glycemic Index'.
As for B-Type: AVOID Chicken altogether because this deleterious {this is in published medical journals} - however, Perricone is for Lamb, and Goat meat is not considered a Red Meat. In fact, if Lamb throws you off try the Goat because it doesn't have that flavour.
Regardless eat more fish AND take Flax seed Oil and Olive Oils {as these directly feed the skin} AND cook with Grapeseed Oil or even Ghee in moderation:
The synthetic Vitamin-E is just not the same...Just get rid of/stop using Canola, Corn, and any of the Polyunsaturated oils - "Mono-unsaturated" is the word of the day.
