Re: hep c infected for more than 30 years?

Hi Kat,I am very sorry to hear you have cirrhosis! Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with me.I just want to eat continue to healthy and take milkthistle and some simple supplements as my budget does not allow me expensive cures. What are you going to do now?is there any cure or can you go on like this?did you have healthy biopsies before that recent one?My genotype is 1(can't remember if a o b).My viral load was 2 million IU in may.and my ast and alt is up now(90 and 185)never been so high!it has tripled since may.I also have had sort of uncomfortable feeling under the right ribcage, but not really pain. But I do a ultrasound check up each year(i know you can't see scarring only tumours)and they are ok.the doc says liver not swollen. What genotype are you and how old are you? they say that it gets more dangerous the older you get.i am46.I feel quite worried and think about doing a biopsy but it seems to be only 40% sure.the french bloodtest is the fibroscan??have you heard about fibroscan and did you do it?What kind of lifestyle apart from remedies you described did you have?smoke ,alcohol etc?they say alcohol influences a lot. a bi hug and all the best
