You can definitely benefit from an 85% raw diet, maybe as much or more so than a 100% raw diet, depending on the kinds of foods consumed and the body type involved. Some people do great on 100% raw - others have different digestion tolences and do better with some cooked foods. The premise is the more raw food included in your diet the better - if you don't think you can handle 100% then just do as much as you can. It's better than eating the standard american cooked diet full of junk food, anyway :)
