Yes, and many pharmaceutical products are fake and even most are expensive, toxic, dangerous and create side effects that other pharmaceuticals must be prescribed for that in turn creates other health conditions. No wonder that so many older people end up with many different prescription drugs that taken together cause worse health problems than the original ones they got the prescriptions for.

Worse still is the fact that pharma wants to treat, never cure. They want their customers to be taking their dangerous medications for a lifetime. Curing would only get rid of customers and revenue streams. And a corporations first obligation is always to maximize shareholder value. In fact it's corporate law.

And given the corrupt nature of the pharma industry along with a more dangerous and largely toxic product that are never designed to actually cure, it shouldn't be surprising that people persist in exploring natural and traditional cures even if some are proven to be less effective than others.
